Former President Trump Delivers Speech at International Christian Media Conference in TN

WKRN — NASHVILLE, Tenn. Donald Trump, the former president, is in Nashville to deliver a speech at the International Christian Media Convention of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB).

According to the group, the purpose of the presidential forum is to give candidates a direct opportunity to address “national issues of Christian concern” in front of Christian broadcasters.

In 2020, then-Attorney General Bill Barr discussed how religion can be used as a test of democracy. In 2018, the conference was also addressed by then Vice President Mike Pence.

Together with all of the Republican members of Congress from Tennessee—including Kid Rock—Trump will also be present at a fundraiser with Tennessee senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty.

Trump’s visit to Music City comes just days before a key primary election in South Carolina. Former US Ambassador and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is currently his only rival in the Republican nomination process.

Before Super Tuesday, Haley is aiming for a great performance in her home state.

On Super Tuesday, Tennessee residents will also have an opportunity to influence the selection of the Republican nominee.
