When the leaked footage of her risqué interaction with Ray J surfaced in 2007, Caitlyn Jenner acknowledged that she did her best to avoid her daughter Kim Kardashian’s sex tape disaster.
In a recent confessional for Sky’s three-part documentary series “House of Kardashian,” the 73-year-old Olympic gold medalist revealed what she was thinking about whatever was going on. “I don’t know what it is and I’m gonna go to the golf course.”
According to E! News, she continued, “To be honest with you, I just stayed out of it.”
“Kris Jenner never discussed it with me. I never discussed it with Kimberly. I’m not sure what or why that occurred.
Caitlyn merely responded, “I have no idea,” when asked if her ex-wife, 67, and their daughter, 42, collaborated “together to release” the sex tape for publicity—a claim that has been circulating about for almost 20 years.
Kardashian shot the iconic sex tape while dating her ex-boyfriend Ray J, as was previously reported.
It was made public some months before to the debut of Caitlyn’s family’s now-famous E! reality series, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
The widely reported controversy was discussed in the show’s October 2007 premiere and recurred in a number of episodes over the course of its 20 seasons.
“As Kim’s mother, I wanted to kill her when I first heard about her sex tape,” Kris stated in the first episode of the show. However, I knew I had a job to do as her manager, and all I really wanted was for her to go on.
Kardashian acknowledged that the clip continued to plague her when the show concluded in 2021.
During the reunion episode of the program, Kardashian said, “I have to live with that for the rest of my life.” “I try not to have regrets, but if I could undo any of the foolish things I’ve done in life, that would probably be it. It’s probably the one thing I wish didn’t exist.”
Caitlyn’s latest remarks follow her accusations that the inventor of Skims “calculated” her way to stardom.
The statement was made in a dramatic teaser for the drama “House of Kardashian,” which delves into the relationships, scandals, and personal challenges of the Kardashian family. But Caitlyn later told TMZ that she regretted using the term and that it wasn’t meant as a diss. After the video appeared online.
Page Six was also informed by a source that Caitlyn apologized to Kardashian. “Everything is fine and dandy,” the source stated. Kim is aware of Caitlyn’s good intentions and heart. They have discussed this and are close.
