Tate McRae Took Charge As The Captain Of The Pop Squad In Her ‘Greedy’ Performance On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Tate McRae, a rising pop talent from Canada, debuted on Saturday Night Live tonight, November 18. Our cover star is putting on her best show for her new chapter in life as her sophomore album Think Later approaches. It was just a matter of time until she paired her infectious new track “Greedy,” which is topping the charts, with an incredible SNL performance.
As the new captain of pop, McRae led a cheerleading-style dance troop during the “Greedy” performance. Channeling the Britneys and Christinas of the past, McRae performed with strength and grace, never pausing for air.

The intricate dance routines shown in the music video were replicated by her on the SNL stage. In a Billboard interview, McRae detailed how choreographer Sean Bankhead helped put together the “Greedy” video and expressed her pride in showcasing her dance skills.

“..I had the opportunity to perform as a dancer and created a film that I thought was really disgusting. McRae remarked, “I want to show my friends.” “I never felt that way before.”
